Pursuant to the article titled ‘Japanese shareholders in Asia Capital want money back’ in the Daily FT newspaper today, 31 August 2020, the shareholders and management of the Asia Securities group of companies which includes Asia Securities (Pvt) Ltd, Asia Securities Wealth Management (Pvt) Ltd, and Asia Securities Advisors (Pvt) Ltd, would like to unequivocally state that there is no relationship, whatsoever, between Asia Securities and Asia Capital PLC.

Asia Securities was acquired by its current shareholders from Asia Capital in January 2015. Since then, there has been no business relationship between the two companies nor any common shareholdings, directors, management nor staff.

Asia Securities has always and will continue to place Integrity at the center of all business conduct, both internally and with our stakeholders. Our business activities are also regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
